Everything from theme, location, catering and décor to favors and invitations…We take care of all the little things that hosts don’t have time to tackle… Emerald Events is affordable party planning at it’s best and will beat any other party planner’s price. We both provide personal and corporate event planning services to clients in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.

Robyn is a native of Staten Island who was bitten by the party planning bug while setting up the decorations and picking out music selections for her 5th grade birthday party in her parent’s basement. She then moved on to planning semi-formal dances at Notre Dame Academy where her live goldfish bowl centerpieces were a big hit at the Under the Sea Dance.

After graduating Wagner College with a degree in Arts Administration, she went on to work for Disney Theatrical Productions in New York City. It was here, where she learned the ropes of hosting an event in NYC, from working the red carpet to big-budget party planning. Robyn assisted with the parties for:

Disney Theatricals annual Christmas and Halloween parties

Robyn was also the celebrity liaison for VIP tickets to all of Disney’s Broadway shows. After a few more years of random event planning-being recruited by family and friends for her expertise-she decided to venture out on her own in 2004. Emerald Events is Robyn’s “labor of love” and she hopes to become a permanent part of the tri-state area’s event planning community.

*In addition to being an event planner, Robyn also manages TICKETS FOR GROUPS, a licensed group sales agency that books Broadway show tickets and dinner packages for groups of 15 people or more. (What a great idea for a bachelorette party? Hmmm…)
